Many of you asked if it’s possible to share your task templates with other users in Bitrix24 account. Now it’s possible and easy to do. First, open new template creation form or edit the template you want to share with others. Then open the full form and scroll to the very bottom until you see Access Permissions.
Now simply click ‘Add’ and share the template with other users. Please note that you can give ‘Read’ or ‘Full’ access level. If you give full access rights, that user will be able to edit your task template. Read only access right gives other users the ability to create tasks based on the template without being able to edit the template itself.

As you may know, Bitrix24 includes extensive REST API that can be used to extend Bitrix24 features and integrate third-party systems. The REST methods can create and edit CRM entities and tasks, post messages to Activity Stream – in fact, they can do almost anything.
Until recently, however, a seemingly nonchalant REST developer's life was troubled by a looming shadow of OAuth 2.0 protocol which had been a requirement, and a tricky one to implement at that. Even though it has now been quite a while since it was introduced, and is currently in use by major software companies, many developers are still faint-hearted when the protocol needs to be implemented from scratch. Another disadvantage is you would have to update authentication tokens now and again should your requirement be an automated, unsupervised continuous data exchange with Bitrix24.

If you go to Activity list, you’ll see that commercial Bitrix24 users now have new activity type – Visit. Here’s how Visit is different from Meeting. Any time you schedule a meeting with your clients or prospects, in your office or theirs, you’d use Meetings. Typically, notes and comments are added to CRM AFTER the meeting to sum it up.
But there are instances when a client visits your office or you visit theirs, and you need to record the entire conversation. This is a typical scenario in many industries, like travel agencies or construction and home improvements, when many options are presented and client has to make the final choice. Sometimes a series of visits is required. Recording conversations during such meetings gives you two advantages. First, you can enter all relevant data inside your CRM after the conversation is concluded (just like many Bitrix24 users do with automatic phone call recording option available inside our CRM). Second, should any conflicts arise, you can play the recording back and hear who said what during the visit.
Again, this option is not available to Bitrix24 users who are on the free plan. Your computer needs to have a camera (to take visitor photos) and a microphone (to record audio).
Bitrix24 new automation rules are designed to help you automate work with CRM records (leads & deals).
Use automation rules to streamline client management process and help employees adhere to lead processing algorithm. Automation rules will perform actions in an unattended manner: send e-mails, make calls, etc.
An automation rule is linked to a specific status. As soon as a CRM entity moves to a new status, an automation rule specified for that status is activated. Automation rules can specify the activation time and an action: task, notification, e-mail, call or other action of your choice.
You can configure automation rules once & the only thing your sales agents will need to do is execute tasks & activities automatically set by the system.
Run – this is the key parameter which specifies when the rule should be applied and the action performed.
