Business Processes - Reminders, Looking to create a business process where you will get a task or calendar reminder is someone's passport/VISA is due for renewal
We are looking to create a business process where the user can add their name and the date of their passport expiry and their VISA expiry.

Ideally we want a task to be created 3 months before the expiry of their passport/VISA.
I am wondering if there is a formula where we can use the date they have entered minus 3 months?

Or is there any other way we can do this?

Thanks :)
Date calculations can be obtained using the construct (example):

=(dateadd({=Document:FIELDNAME}, -"90d"})

Also, if you are not using the default date format (mm/dd/yyyy):

if using the format "dd/mm/yyyy", there's an issue I found that can be circumvented by using the format "dd.mm.yyyy".

FYI, we develop BP and market them As a Service, including Bitrix24 environment administration.

Thanks,
Ronaldo

Hi Ronaldo,

Thank you for the info!

I have tried it and it states that the start date is 01/01/1970 no matter what date I put in.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Hannah
It may be something else, but check this first:

that is the same symptom I saw when trying to use the alternate date format, e.g. dd/mm/yyyy
what is the format you have in SETTINGS -> Intranet Settings -> Date Format?

did you change that from the default?
attached image shows how it works for me.

I have tried the link you have provided but it says the URL is not found.
I have also had a look on the settings in the control panel and I can't see 'Intranet settings'

Thanks,

Hannah
Hannah, is your Bitrix24 self-hosted or in the cloud?
Is your instance currently in English version?

If in the cloud, the URL in your browser will show something like <your company name>.btrix24.com...
In this case, you will have a menu on the left side of the screen, from top to bottom (see attachment).
You may need to roll down the page to see the SETTINGS.
If not, please reply with a print screen of your settings menu.

HI Ronaldo,

We have the Self-Hosted Version, however it is hosted at a distributor's site.

Please see my print screen for the Services/Settings menu we have on the site.

I have also looked into the Control Panel and attached the screenshot of what I found for Date/Time Format.

Hi Hannah,

I see that you have the format DD/MM/YYYY configured.
This didn't work for me.
Assuming you need daya/month/year, change the configuration to DD.MM.YYYY.

In Bitrix24 cloud this was the solution/detour I used.
Not sure it will work for self-hosted.
If your instance is hosted by a third party, you may need to ask them to perform the change.
