Subtask time spent not added to parent task
Bitrix allows to estimate the time a cetain task will take.

It is also possible to add subtasks to better organize these tasks.

Currently it seems that when estimating a time for the parent task, time spent on subtasks aren't added to the parent tasks time, which is confusing to us.

Is there a way to have the time spent on subtasks to be added to the parent tasks? As we usually estimate the time spent on the overall parent task and would assume the subtasks would be summed up, so we can see how much of the allowed time budget has been used.
Hi Roger!

Thanks for the observation. At this point you can add time to the parent task manually.

@Roger Küng: We download the data to excel and summarize estimated and actual time there (workaround). (Each Task has a prefix 00., etc.) to allow sorting in excel (also pivot table for sum of time for each responsible).
For us also it would be nice to display sum of estimated and conducted time in sub-tasks beside the orignial time of the parent task.

Currently, Bitrix is still not able to sum estimated time of subtasks for their parent task ?
Unfortunately not. Thanks for the vote on this option.

Sure, by drag & drop in Gantt (drop between other subtasks), by indent and outdent arrows in Gantt or by "edit" task and change of entry field "subtask of" which denotes the (new) parent task.
