CRM: adding custom fields

The mail merge functionality would be to print customer details to paper. We publish magazines which we post to our clients. Now I have 42 000 readers divided into 8 groups. I would like to filter them according to magazine which I can do at the moment, no problem there. Then I want to print the adress sheet that we place in the plastic envelopes. So I would need to for instance click on a mail merge tab, pick the fields I would like to use in the merge, Then click  print. This will then pull the fields into a group that can prints on the cover paper. It will have for instance the following on this address cover sheet.

If you have ever done a mail merge fr om Microsoft Excel into Microsoft Word, This would be exactly what it should be able to do. So I would like to print postage labels fr om Bitrix. Although it must be flexible enough if I want to print letters to these clients filling in their details automatically on each newsletter for instance with a choice of paper size, position wh ere the mail merged items must appear on the page and font size etc.

I hope i have explained this well enough.

On another point, if I select multiple contacts and send them a message,I add a email template wh ere I have the name field added in the heading ie. Hello  #CONTACT.NAME#. When I send this bulk mail, it does not fill in the First name on the email the client receives. They receive the mail with Hello  #CONTACT.NAME# instead of Hello John. The template works if I send to only one contact.

Can you look into this for me please.
Since the update with the new address field, when you export to excel the address is placed in the same column in separate rows. The zip code is place after region and not right at the bottom. This means we cannot do mail merge from excel to word anymore. Myself and other have asked for a mail merge function in bitrix and this is still maybe in the pipeline. If these fields can be exported with their own columns like country, zip and so on it would be helpfull.

Users cannot delete emails, email deletion
Hello Guys

I don't know if I've just lost the plot, but my users cannot delete emails, what am I missing? Some mails that come in are duplicate mails and these will never get tended to so they stay in the activity stream as not completed. Users cannot delete these duplicates but administrator can.

Where am I missing a step.

Business Process - modify document, Business Process - modify document element stopped working
Hi Guys

For some reason the Business Process - modify document element stopped working. I have multiple business processes that depend on this element. I was just creating a new process whereby if one field is equal to April Then the business process must modify another field to March. I tested my other business processes and found that none of them work anymore because of the malfunction of the "modify document" element in business processes.

Please can you resolve this urgently as this renders my company dead in the water.

I will also vote for the ability to use the mail merge function from contacts to have a letter with the contact name and postal address on it for print. Another crm that we are in the process of dropping for Bitrix that has this function is Goldmine. You can merge the elements from the contact to a letter and then print out these letters for the client.

This is a really powerful option to have.

Mail Forwarding does not work, Mail forwarding does not allow text to be entered

Can someone please check into this. When you forward a mail from the crm activities module , it does not give you the ability to type a text message into the forward text box it only works when you are in the contacts module.

Thank you for adding the signature to the reply mail, however it only works when you email from the contacts module. When you reply on a mail that is in the crm activities module there is still no option to add a template or signature.

When I am in activities and click on a mail sent to me and then want to reply to that mail, I do not have the option to add a signature like there is on the new mail. Even if I pick up the mail on the contact module and want to reply to it, there is no option to add a signature. Neither in the deals module. I don't think any of the reply emails or forward email functions allows for adding my signature.

I would like to second this question, I would also like o know how to forward a mail and have it attache to a specific crm object. New mails that come in does not belong to any client card as they are not created. To make all such mails into leads will be a bit of a problem as we receive hundreds of mails in a day that has nothing to do with actual business but is used for other purposes. to sift through these by one person will be a full time job. I need a way to assign a responsible person from yandex. Also when a mail comes into the crm, and is attached to a specific responsible person that needs to send this mail to another user we need to be able to change the responsible person on an email in the activities tab and have it automatically move over to the new responsible persons activities. This is extremely important to our business help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Another thing when I click on an email in the activities and try to forward it to an employee it does not allow me to, neither does it allow me to type anything into the text field of the forwarded message. I get an error asking for a to: address or connect to a deal. It will be a problem if we cannot forward mails??

Lastly, can you please ad the option to add a signature to a reply mail. many mails come in from contacts that we have not mailed yet, we have them on our database but moving to bitrix means we get mails from these clients as first time mails and we cannot add a signature to a reply mail. As our downloadable magazine is on the signature it is vitally important to have this option in our mails.

As a side note, why when I call a number for the telephony I get the error : [COLOR=#7d7d7d]Cannot call +27083281**** because this route is unavailable.
[/COLOR]Does this mean I cannot use telephony in south Africa?
Contacts, sorting contacts and search fields

Quick question: Is there a way to filter contact to show only contacts starting with the letter 'a' This is a useful feature that does not seem to be available in bitrix 24?

Also can you allow for us to add more fields in the email dropdown list. at the moment you only have work, home and other. we never use a client's home email, however, they make use of agency's and this would be great if we could add it to this email list as it seems only this email list is picked up in the send and save. I have created another field for agencies but this field is not recognized by the send and save.

CRM: Integration with Send&Save
Hello Guys

My representatives work on the same contact. For instance three reps will have the contact john. now when the email comes in from the client that is not a reply from one of the reps the mail is attached to the first record of john it can find and the wrong rep gets the message. It does not seem to attach to all the instances of the contact john, even if it did it would not be ideal.

What I  am looking for is a service code or something like it that will look for the email address of the rep in the email body and attach this client to the appropriate client card that has the responsible rep without the other reps receiving the mail.

Your help is always appreciated.

Address field messed up, The address field in contacts has added multiple extra fields

Hello guys

Maybe you can help me. On the quote the fields for client name, client email, client tel number and client address is automatically filled when contact is selected. If I have a custom fiel in contact that I want to also automatically fill like the others mentioned is this possible.

In other words, in contact I have a custom field called magazine. If I create a duplicate of this field (magazine) in the quote and then select the contact I want this field to also automatically populate with what is typed in at the contact side.

Can this be done at all?

Thank you so much for your help. There is another thing I have run into. In Doc designer when I am on the deals page and want to ad the deal to an invoice template the list cuts off on the top of the page and I cannot access the other invoices of our departments. here are two pics to illustrate the problem. I tried this in different browsers and no luck, can you maybe put this popup list in a scrollable tag so we can access the rest of the invoice templates. Int the top picture I clicked on the bottom deal and this is almost the full template list. On the 2nd picture I clicked on the first deal and the list cuts of at the 5 template. I cannot scroll up or down to access the rest of the list.

Modify invoice template ?
Hello Guys

I have made a good working invoice with docdesigner. Now I am hitting a wall. In the "Add Deal" page, when adding a product, there is a space to add a discount. How do I display this discount on the invoice in doc designer. I guess what I want to know is what is the parameter. I tried {Deal:TOTAL_DISCOUNT} and it does not work. I see no option for it in the add parameters menu.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
