Jdbc drivers to access CRM data?, Is there a way to access my account's CRM data through a jdbc driver?
Sérgio, you have two options, depending on where your data is located.

If you are using the Bitrix24 Service in the cloud, you can access your data using REST methods ([URL=https://training.bitrix24.com/rest_help/]https://training.bitrix24.com/rest_help/[/URL]).

If you are using an installed version (self-hosted), you may access the MySQL database directly, since it resides on your infrastructure.

Tasks templates
You all probably know by now that sharing task templates among users is available.

Templates for workgroups is not supported, however it is not too difficult to create a simple workflow to do this.
This BP/workflow when run, will create the group and optionally some tasks within the group.
You can go the extra mile by asking the user for the name of the group, participants, observer, title and descriptions of the tasks...

Just use the action "create workflow" to create the group/project, entering the params required, and then optionally the tasks, if you intend to use this as a project.

To make sure the tasks are linked to the group just created, open the "additional results" window, get the group ID and save it in the task, socialnetwork group field.

export to excel, error in export to excell
Hi, this may be just a hunch, but when I export companies to excel, the file created, although has a .xls extention, is in fact html.
Open it with a text editor to confirm.

I found this when troubleshooting a problem with excel + windows 10 which would refuse to open the exported file because it was considered "unsafe".
Open xls file properties and "unlock" the file, try to open it again.

seems to be working fine for me...I created a custom field in Deals,  called "link to crm elements", selected deal, contacts, leads and/or companies at will, used it for a filter, everything works as intended.

Martin, you should create the sections first (can be nested) and then click on the section name to enter, then create the products for that section.

you can do that as follows (see pictures)

1) open your contact's record, (VIEW), click on "task"
2) if necessary, click on [B]More [/B]to open extended form
3) click on [B]Add Reminder
[/B]4) select date/time, who will be alerted and if the alert is to be sent via email or IM
5) Save.

This task is linked to the contact record, you may also associate it to a project/group (Sales?)

Roger, you can run PHP code inside a workflow (business process) in the self-hosted version.

please check if the contact's phone field is empty.
Search will not find records without a phone.
Just add a phone to any contact record, then search for that contact's name.
It will show...

James, this seems to be working for me.

Clicking on With (+Select) and LEAD produces nothing, but Search works (as soon as you type something before clicking the button).
Also, clicking on More to expand the window, and then on Deal (+select), works as intended.

Richard, are you using Bitrix24 integrated telephony?

If so, a window will open with the caller info if the caller phone # was previously saved somewhere in the CRM.
Also the call will be recorded.
If the caller is unknown, Bitrix24 can optionally create a new lead for you.

If not using telephony, there is some places to enter comments on the lead screen (and other places).
You have links to record calls, create tasks, meetings, etc.

as I said, the relationship is hierarchical, but you can add employees to multiple places, with the corresponding effect on permissions/visibility

Fair enough...but remember, this is a system where the hierarchy plays a role (no pun intended).

You must create a department for each of your supervisors and respective lead generators.
That's the only way supervisors can see "down the tree" to their own and assigned lead generators' leads...
As for change or not, use the permissions in the role (read, write, delete, etc.).
If possible, try to see the pattern and create as little different roles as possible, to facilitate maintenance in the future.

the role for Assessor (is this the supervisor?) is not correct.

these employees will sen only the leads they own.

See the image attached,
Set the access to personal and department or personal and department and subdepartment.
Remember all the guys with this role will see all leads in the department (sales).
You may want to add subdepartments for different sales channels, with different account/dept managers, etc.

the only thing you could do wrong in the lead form is to use the wrong responsible.
check the 2 settings I mentioned above, role (and its definition) and company structure (employee position)

the key settings are the role (defines the action - read, write etc. and scope: personal, dept, sub dept, etc.) and the POSITION the user has on the company structure (head, dept, sub).

those two settings define the permissions ;-)

right now all your employees are on the head of the company, so [B]if[/B][B] the role permits[/B], they will see all departments.

Geoff, the role "lead generator" will only allow access to each employee's own leads.
Who are the "supervisor" type employees?
What permission role are they being assigned?
They should have visibility to department and or subdepartment leads.
By moving them to appropriate departments you can further restrict or expand access.

Hi Raymond,

Here's a use case for Bind To User:
Let's say you have a business process (BP) that requires actions to be performed by a few different employees.
You could create a variable for each one (type of variable: Bind To User), set the default value to the actual employee (choose from the drop down field showing all your employees).
Then assign the variables to BP actions like Create Task or maybe Require More Information.
The end result is each employee will be required to execute the action, in the right sequence, or delegate it to another person.

Alan, if you are using the cloud version, go to

CRM > settings > Payment Details > Payment Systems

Choose the payment method you are using and customize it (Handler properties).
Note the "show all fields" link.

Do not delete any of those payment methods, otherwise you may not be able to print invoices or quotes.
You must have at least one "quote" and one "invoice" handler for each contact and company client type.

Do I have your authorization to translate and post this on our web site FAQ section?

BTW, it is also possible to develop a workflow that, when run, will create predefined templates (taking as parameters the group name, creator, participants, etc.)
The down side of this is that currently it is not possible to create sub tasks nor checklists from inside the workflow.
