CRM Forms fields, Limited field types?
I do not see certain types of fields - the most important ones - on the list of available fields in CRM Forms. Is it possible to use Bind to CRM Elements, Bind to Information Block Elements etc?

Using CRM Companies in Business Processes, How to use Companies in a Business Process field
Hi,

I would like to extend Business Trip Workflow with a new field that would allow user to pick several destinations form CRM Companies. Bind to sections, Bind to Elements and Link to elements don't help. Is there a way to do it without using lists? Namely, list would be redundant information on the same thing that already exists in CRM Companies. I was thinking also whether I could bind CRM Companies to an information block. Is that an option?

Time tracker, How to track time with the mobile app?

Mobile app does not allow user to track time spent on a task. Is this a setting that I failed to set up or a feature that does not exist?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. Since you are mentioning feature request I wonder whether there is any policy, schedule, timeline etc. that would enable us to get an indication when a particular feature is about to be implemented.

Hi,

In our company we have several departments that actually share the same companies (e.g. Hospitals, Health Centres etc.) and the same Contacts (e.g. Heads of purchasing departments). As far as I understand this topic access rights in CRM are dependant on Contacts, Companies, Deals, Leads, Quotes and Invoices. However, one cannot relate any access rights to meetings.

What if Sales Manager John Smith from Department A visits Head of Purchasing Maria Jones at Hospital X and enters a meeting notes into CRM the contents of which he would prefer to stay confidential within Department A?

If Sales Manager Sarah Brown from Department B starts to work with Head of Purchasing Maria Jones at Hospital X on a different project she will be able to see that particular meeting as well as notes and uploaded files if any.

Please let me know how to cope with that problem.

In the CRM section of the self-hosted instance I can configure access rights (read, add, update, delete, export, import) for:
[LIST]
[*]contacts
[*]companies
[*]deals (for each status separately)
[*]leads (for each status separately)
[*]quotes
[*]invoices
[/LIST]I don't know how to limit access to meetings.

Interface localisation is not consistent, Meetings and Briefings section remains untranslanted
Hi Yana,

interface localisation is not entirely consistent. For instance, Meetings and Briefings section remains in its English wording despite the fact it is duly translated to Slovenian. I cleared cache, logged out, restarted computer. It just won't help.

Please advise.

How to manage new person on the same position
Hi Yana,

I am afraid this is a misunderstanding. You are mentioning the user, our employee, whereas I was talking about the customer - about the lead that was converted to contact and we have some events (meetings, phone calls etc.) connected to this person. Since he will be replaced tomorrow I wonder whether I could bind the history of these events onto a new person, his successor on the same position (director of this company).

Workaround would be to modify the demographic data on this persons record in Bitrix24 but I believe this solution is not elegant.

Hi,

I wonder what is the best practice in a quite common situation when a person leaves the position and a new person is appointed? For the sake of the argument let's say that we are interested to know the whole history of calls, visits etc. of the Director at the Company ACME. Yesterday the Director was Greg, he left and today Mary was appointed. Obviously Greg is now ex Director and Mary the present Director. However, we need to have a history on the events (phone calls, meetings, e-mails etc.) on the Director of ACME regardless who is holding  this position.

how to add information block subsection, cannot add subsection
Hello,

Hi Yana!

That sounds very promising, I'm looking forward to November release.

Regarding CRM I must apologise. We are still at the very early, beginning phase and I was not aware of this feature. We will study it and if we come up with some idea or proposal regarding email integration and CRM I'll post it here.

Hi Yana,

We are using on-premise version and we have just started to implement. Let me add my vote for the integration of emails. That would be in my opinion even more useful in CRM module.

However, reading this thread I am wondering whether you are seriously considering this option for future updates at all. Is there any timeline available?
