Drive structures are confusing
Hi Zac,

The name of the folder is Bitrix24 by default - it looks like you've renamed it to "Brown" (if I'm not wrong) - and you still can rename it. As for now Bitrix24.Disk cannot be fully integrated with Company Drive by one action, which means you need to permit synchronization for the chosen folders inside, same for groups drives, after all - all of these files are synchronized at one place at your local machine - this particular folder, that can be named\renamed as you wish.

Please advise if I lost the point of your message - or maybe you've meant something different, hope this answers your question.

Linking Company and Contact, Change responsible also linked
Now I see what you mean - no, when responsible person is changed for the company, contact's responsible stay the same  - it  does not change automatically, because it may not always be logical for different types of business (sales management). But what we did to simplify the process - the responsible persons for contacts and companies may be changed in bulk - you may tick several contacts and at the bottom line menu (of contacts list) choose - assign responsible person. Hope this may help.

Auto-fill contact names in Leads?, Matching contacts are found- how do you choose them?

What you describes - I believe is a duplicates control (search) - this option only advises you that you already have similar CRM item & do not need to create a duplicate one (but you still can create one if you wish).

Bitrix24 CRM works due to the following logic: first you add\create a new lead, after a while - this lead can become a contact (or a company) - to transfer this lead into a contact - use convert option - when you'll click it - you'll see a convert wizard with lead's fields already filled into new contact\company page. After the process is finished  - a new contact will appear among your contacts list, plus the lead will stay also in the leads list with "converted" status.

Please advise if this scenario works fine for you - or maybe you've meant something different.

Please advise what do you mean exactly? Please note that several contacts can be associated with one company. If you need to delete this association to one of the contacts - you can open this company details page>contacts> choose the contact you want to no longer associate with this company and click edit - delete company name from the contact's details page.

Calendars and Contacts synchronization with Apple products

Such an email may appear when connecting gmail box to Bitrix24 portal. Because Bitrix24 portal, being placed in Amazon DC, sends a request to the inbox in order to receive the quantitity of new incoming emails, but google sees this as a request from unknown location.

The reason is - the CRM doc library option is not available, meaning the custom filed you are trying to create cannot work correctly. What you can create is a File type of custom field, not information block. In case with file type - the file will be attached to the lead but stored in the cloud, when you will click on it - the file will be downloaded to your local machine.

The scanario is that when you synchronise Bitrix24 calendar with Outlook - a new ("bitrix24") calendar is added to Outlook - meaning it does not mix with Outlook main calendar and\or other Outlook calendars (Sharepoint calendar). So such synchronization is not available.

The system searches for duplicates this logic way:

Lead:
by last name, first name, phone, email, company name
*[I]please note the first line filed "Lead name" in the Lead creaton form is not involved in search and is in fact a working field meaning lead description[/I]

Contact:
by last name, first name, phone, email,

Company:
by phone, email, company name

Thanks for your feedback, it should not work this way - the system should have advised user 2 that this lead (contact) already exists. The system actually searches among all leads of the portal irrelatively to the access permissions.

Unfortunately, this type of logic can be implemented in self-hosted version only, where you have access to the full product API and ability to write code in PHP (and use this type of BP's activity).

It's a rather lengthy process, the developers constantly receive an amount of feature requests, then evaluating if it should be implemented or not, if yes they put it into the strategic dev plan, and so on.
