There is no possibiblity now to connect the lead to the product through  REST_API. The  "PRODUCT_ID" field  - is already an "old" field, and there is no possibility yet to use the new added  "PRODUCT_ROWS" field
We have informed our Development Department about this issue.

If you are a Cloud version user - the "User group" concept is not available for moderation, it means you can use a "work group" concept to distribute Access permissions for CRM.

What does it mean:

There is a distinction between the concepts: "user group" and "workgroup" within the context of the social network. A workgroup is a group of employees gathered together to solve a task within this context. However, they can belong to different user groups. (find out more on this subject[url=http://www.bitrixsoft.com/support/training/course/index.php?COURSE_ID=26&LESSON_ID=1416] here[/url]

What means "User Group" concept is not available? For example, when you open CRM>Settings>Access Permissions and click "Add Access permission" - you see a "User category" window - in this window there are several sections available (on the left) - User Groups, Users, Departments, Social network Groups. What I was explaining above means that the "User Group" section should not be displayed in the Cloud version - because this concept is not available. So you should not be misled by this section.

How can I give specific CRM rights to a number of employees?
You can either add several users in CRM>Settings>Access Permissions - click "Add Access permission" >"User category" window > Users
or
choose a specific workgroup in CRM>Settings>Access Permissions>"Add Access permission" >"User category" window > Social network groups.

Please note that if you want to give a group of people specific CRM rights, and if you need to create this group first - you should do it not in CRM section but in "Workgroups">"All Workgroups">"Create New Group" or by clicking green "Create" > "Group" button in the left top corner.
After you do that (have created new group) - go back to CRM>Settings>Access Permissions>"Add Access permission" >"User category" window > Social network groups and choose this new group.

The Management Board Group (and others starting from "My Company") is inherited from Bitrix24 Self-hosted version. These groups are useless at the Cloud version. They should be deleted from the list but are left there due to some technical issues (because this section is bound to BP module). We apologize for the inconvenience. We plan to take this section off the list soon.
Please remove access settings related to these groups and use another available user's categories.

To give a specific group specific CRM access rights please perform the following steps:
1) Go to CRM - Settings - Access permissions
2) Click Add Access Permissions



3) In the Access Permissions window choose the name of the Group (Social network groups - my Groups) and to whom you want to give the access rights (all group members or the owner). Click Select



4) Now you need to create a specific CRM role for this specific group. Click Add in the bottom of the CRM roles list


5) Give this new CRM role a name. (You can name this role same as your Group for easier navigation in CRM Roles. )
6) Choose access rights for each and every area of CRM you wish.



7) Now all your Group's members (make sure they accept your groups invitation) will have access to CRM entities due to the settings you've made.

You don't need to worry. A unique 'secret' is created when you view your documents and it has a lifetime of 15 minutes. No one will be able to access your private documents, even if they get the link somehow.

Email Template Does Not Merge Contact.Name, Contact Name is not ins erted in to the template when sent...

The current issue with a contact name not being replaced is not a real bug. System can modify the name if only it sends an email individually to each contact. If you perform a mass mailing process then system sends the data to an external SMTP server that processes all the emails.

We work on resolving the issue with some type of external integration: MailChimp or others.
MailChimp integration is expected in our Marketplace later this month.

Your Own Domain Name, Change your regular Bitrix24 domain name to a custom domain name of your choice

For Bitrix24 FREE account domain name is set at the moment of registration, this is a three-level domain <domain>.bitrix24.com.

If you need to change something in <domain> (for example if your company has already had its own Bitrix24 FREE account and whants to change its name for your <domain> part of  domain name), than the only one solution possible for FREE versions - is to make a new account (either use your personal account (in case you will invite employees to your own Bitrix24), or make a new one).

Please note the once you have decided to delete your Bitrix24 Account - it will be completely deleted after 50 days from the day you totally stop using it.

But! In case if your company is using or plan to use Bitrix24 PROFESIONAL version you can create your company's own three-level domain name - for example (my.intranet.com)

It is very easy to make an announcement in Bitrix24 - here is what you have to do:

Right in the Activity Stream there is a field for a new message creation - click "More" there - choose "Announcement"




The Announcement Creation field will appear - enter Announcements topic, message, and choose whom to send this announcement. Note that "ALL EMPLOYEES" option is chosen by default, if you waht to limit recipients - press "X" icon and click "+" icon to choose recipients.



[I]Finally all recipients will see the Announcement immediately[/I] in their Activity Stream and also as a separate Widget (so that if the Activity Stream will be updated with new messages - your employees will never miss the Announcement as it will still be displayed on the right as a separate widget).

Unfortunately this option is not available now, but our Mobile app is organically growing with our Bitrix24 web platform, we do understand this feature importance and our Development Team plan to implement photos upload functionality asap.

The access to these files can be achieved either by sharing a link to this file with your employees or when your employee open your profile page and click "Files". Unfortunately you can not move files from My Files section to Shared Documents separate section within Bitrix24, you will actually need to upload the files to Bitrix24 Shared Documents section again.

As for [B]contacts:[/B] each of your employees has his\her own CRM role (manager, administrator, head of department, etc) - this role defines access permissions rights. To define or change these rights please go to [B]"CRM" [/B]- "[B]Settings[/B]" -[B] "Access permissions[/B]" - make sure you have your employee in this list (if not add him\her and give him\her a CRM role) - then choose a CRM role for your employee. To see or edit access permission details click on "edit" icon (pencil icon) next to CRM role (for example "Manager".



Choose levels of access you want particular CRM Role ho have ( for example give Manager role access to Contacts as "Read" - "all";)

Messages in Activity Stream
Hi Kate,

The messages appear in the top of the Activity Stream only when a new comment has been added to it. So what we advise you to do - is either add new comments to the messages you edit (in this case your employees will see this message update in their Activity Stream immediately), or waht you can also do - though this is a bit different - you can create announcements for Important messages to your team - they appear not only in the Activity Stream, but also as a separate Widget on the right from the Activity Stream, and it also demands reaction from your team members - that should mark it as read.

Invitation to a colleague for a meeting in CRM Area, Is it possible to send an invitation to a colleague for a meeting in "Company" or "Lead" zones of CRM area?

Unfortunately there is no possibility to invite guests to a meeting right from CRM, but we have put this suggestion to the development department. But! If you need to invite guests to the CRM meeting, you can go to "Calendar" - find this CRM meeting - click "Edit event" (pensil icon) and open "Guests" and add names of your colleagues you want to attend this meeting with you.



Your colleagues will see this meeting in their Calendar blinking with "?" sign and they will also receive an invitation widget immediately in their Activity Stream

In case if your employees have made changes in their own forms before - they will not see a new field appear in their form (in this case they see it as "Custom View) They would have to go to "Default" form to see a new field (for that go to "CRM" - "Companies" -"Add" - "Default view")

- in Reports section there is no Departments filter, a serious customisation is demanded to put this option in place

- In Absence Chart there is a Filter by Departments, but there is no data access limitation - for that a customisation needed.

Product Form Fields, Fields
Hi Steve,

What you can do is add "Section", name it "VENDOR" or "MANUFACTURER" and add some subSections inside of this major Section, name these subsections your Vendors names. In this case you will be able to choose the name of your Vendors from the list while creating a product, this name will be displayed in the Product list after.

As for other Product Section Fields Customization - Bitrix24 does not provide it yet, but we are studying the demand currently. We thank you for the suggestion.

Actually,  different devices do read Time Zones differently and Events added from Bitrix24 do not always interpreted by the device due to the right Time Zone... The problem is that your Device does not transfer the time of the Events added from Bitrix24 to your current time-zone. Bitrix24 transfer your account data with the "Moscow tie zone" flag, so that your Device may read and change the Time Zone for your Local one. Unfortunately different devices do or do not do this transfer, that is why we cannot say this is a technical bug, but rather a problem for our clients, and we do apologize for the inconvenience. We are currently working on this issue to improve Cal synchronisation.  

Please note that your opinion is important to us, and we hope you will enjoy the other Bitrix24 features and capabilities while we will do our best to fix these Calendar issues asap.

Registration problem, incorrect checkword

You may  receive this error in case if you have sent more than one invitation to this user and he is using the first (previous) one to log in. Please try to send him one more invitation and use only that last one to enter your Bitrix24 subdomain.

delete an invitation? delete users?

Actually this problem can be solved by deleting the Invitation in "Employees"/"Invited" section. After you  delete the employee from "Invited" list, the link provided in his/her email will not work anymore (it will appear as a LOG IN form suitable only for those already registed at your Bitrix24 Account. For comparison, active invitation link transfer you to "Create a login and password" page).

As far as[U] the problem you have [/U]seems to be a technical issue ([U]error message “Error! The user was not deleted[/U]") - we advise you to contact our[url=https://www.bitrix24.com/support/helpdesk/] Help desk[/url] for further technical assistance.

1) Emailing Tasks to Bitrix24 - we already have this feature request, and we are trying to find a solution that will work for the service.

2) Emailing messages to Bitrix24 Acitivity steam is not available for Bitrix24 Cloud

But it works through our Send'n'Save technology for self-hosted version users.

Actually, tasks are displayed in Bitrix24 Mobile App's special "TASKS" section, and that is not a bug that tasks are not displayed in "CALENDAR" section, but the scenario our servise work. But we have put your suggestion for "Tasks calendar" and "My Calendar" syncronisation to our Development department, thank you for the suggestion!

As for Invisible Group Notifications - here is the solution: you will need to change [U][I][B]default email adress[/B][/I][/U] for all your intranet's notifications, because your email is set as sender adress by default as site administrator ("Intranet creator" ) email.

To do that please go to[B] "SETTINGS" - INTRANET SETTINGS [/B]- in the field [B]"E-mail of the site administrator[/B] (default sender address)" - enter a new email adress that will appear by default in "Reply to" field of all site notifications your Intranet members will receive.

Please 1) go to this Group  page - "Actions" - "Group Parameters" and make sure the "Visible to all" option is not activated.
2) check if you are not stil the member of this group - if yes, ask the administrator to delete  you from the list

As for 250-character limit for comments  - we are not sure it will be implemented soon, because we are actually working on Invoice customization concept development (add custom fields, attach files to invoices - in your case it can be payment instructions).

Yes, you're right, you can see other incompleted items in CRM/My Activities too (in case if they are bound to CRM Entities ("contacts" in your exampe) and filter them by any parameter available in filter fields.

Note that items not connected to CRM Entities will not be displayed in CRM section (for example Tasks not connected to CRM will be displayed only in My workplace/Tasks section. But items created in CRM or connected to CRM Entities will be displayed in CRM sections of cause).

For example you can do same for meetings, calls, emails - choosen from "Type" filter, or add other filters fields too (Priority, deadline, created on, etc). You also can create new filters for search optimization (similar as was described above).

make sure you have a "[B]Type[/B]" list in the drop-down menu (in case you do not see this field click on "[I][B]More filter fields[/B][/I]" icon and add [I][B]"Type" [/B][/I]field), choose and filter activities with "[I][B][U]Tasks[/U][/B][/I]" parameter.



Please note that for comfortibale work we also advise you to create a [U][B]new filter[/B][/U] (in case you are working with CRM tasks a lot), not no spend time for searching for tasks in My activities section. For that - first filter your Activities section with "Tasks" (as described above), than click on "Create new filter icon" (+ icon) and Enter the name for this filter ("Tasks"), click save.

You wil see a new filter name appear in the filter field



Now to work with CRM tasks you will need to go to "CRM" - "My Activities" - click on "Tasks" filter. Here contacts will be displayed.

Calendar/Even reminders, Are these available? And if so, is the wording customization?

Yes, Calendar Events reminders are available. You can set them while creating a new Event or edit the existing Event. Unfortunately wording customization is not available yet

How can I edit daily plan?
Dear JR Solano,

In this case you may need to delete also that recurring[U] [B]task template[/B] [/U]as it may have caused the problem. Let me explain: Task template - is a kind of scenario template on base of which the task reccurrs. Actually this task template is created automatically after you have created a new recurring task. It means that when you deleted your recurring task - you have actually deleted only one sample of task that was created for this week, and next week a new task will be generated by task template and so on.

To delete the Task Template go to "My Tasks" - "[B]Create from task template" icon[/B] - and choose the name of the task that you want to delete.

How can I edit daily plan?

You can either add or delete the tasks to\from your daily plan, or [U]edit the tasks in the "Task" section. [/U]





You can edit the task in the "Tasks" section by choosing "edit" in a special drop-down menu near the task (see screenshot)


or open the task you want to edit and click on "Edit"
