CRM: Email to Bitrix24 in CC or BCC, IS the feature still available?

Unfortunately there is no way to replace\reconnect the existing emails inside CRM between entities by inbuilt CRM tools, [B][U]but here is the solution[/U][/B]:

First, we advise you to delete the email that was connected to the wrong entity or the new-created (wrong) lead in case if it was created. Then you will need to resend this email to your special CRM email adress - for that first find this email either in your profile email adress mailbox (or assigned responsible's profile adress) or at least in your special CRM email adress mailbox.

To make sure that messages will processed and stored properly (to the right CRM entitity you need), choose one of these ways and resend this email to your special email CRM adress:

   1) If a user sends an email to the CRM’s address and puts the addresses of various CRM objects (Leads, Contacts, Companies) in the first line of the body of the message, the system will add the message to all objects which contain any of the addresses included in that first line. (For example the lied's email adress)

2) If a user sends a message to the CRM’s address and includes an expression that corresponds to the “Resolve Entity Using the Expression” listings in the Send&Save settings, such as LID#48, DID#88, etc., the message will be added to the object indicated by that expression. (for example you can include lead's ID (sample LID#48) to the email text message).

Custom fields and file uploads in mobile app
Hi Yoel,

Unfortunately Custom Fields are not displayed In Mobile App CRM yet.

As for files and images upload you can do that in the Activity Stream messages (click "+" icon to add/share new files, photos).
Actually, photos and files upload is not yet available in CRM and Tasks section (exception is Company and Contact profile's photos - you can download them from your Mobile App).

Files and images can be uploaded into the sel ected workgroup right fr om the Activity Stream.

Time spent on a task, How to see the time spent on a task you assigned
Hi JR Solano,

To see the time spend on task execution you need to include the task to the dayly plan. Or you can include the task in daily plan in task creation form too.



If you want to see the tasks execution to be  displayed in the efficiency report you need to tick a special field "Include tasks in Efficiency report" in the task creation form. Note that you need to be the task's responsible person's supervisor (head) to be able to activate this function.


Unfortunately the automatic task execution time indicator is not working correctly now without preset parameters (as decribed above), this is a technical bug that will be fixed by our team in nearest time.

Calendar Synced w/Google Adds Old/Deleted Entries in Bitrix
Hi Harmony!

Actually, the entities appeared in Bitrix24 from your Google Calendar are taken from your Google Calendar data - obviously Bitrix24 cannot create them by itself. Probably these entities did stay somehow in your Google calendar. We advise you to check with Google Calendar first.

Can you please [B][I][U]specify what kind of entities do you see now in your Bitirix24 calendar[/U][/I][/B]. (a sample with screenshot will be very helpful)

Workgroup Owner, Is it possible change the workgroup owner?
Dear Angela,

All new messages, tasks and announcements will be shown in user's Activity Stream - there are special counters (numbers) next to each activity section (activity stream, tasks, messages)  - they show the amount of new and/or ones demands attention messages\tasks\announcements etc. So that you will never skip important information.

As for special notifications - in case if you want each of your employees to receive a notification on your website (web messenger), desktop app or push notifications on their mobile devices - you need to ensure that each of your employees have enabled this function. Here is how:

Open your group's profile - Check if you have a "notification enabled" icon is activated.

Workgroup Owner, Is it possible change the workgroup owner?
Hi Angela,

You can change Group Owner this way: go to your group's profile - in "Actions" menu choose "Edit users"

then go to "Actions" menu that is opposite the "Owner" line - choose "change Owner" there.



Please note that there is also [B][COLOR=#0000FF]Announcement tool [/COLOR][/B]that can be very helpful. Any of your employees can create an Announcement It is easy to create right from the Activity Stream - no need for any group at all, it will be displayed both in each choosen users Activity Stream and as a [B]seperate widget too!

Here is how your Announcement will look like - you will be asked to mark it as read: That is very comfortable from management point of view because you will see who has marked it as read.

You do everything correct, (due to your screenshot you just have to finish the process by clicking [B]send invitation[/B] button). Please note that your employee[U] will appear in Workgroup members list - after he\she will confirm your invitation.

Yes, this option is still available. But you should know, that after you have sent an email from your email client- it appears in CRM as an "incoming" and not as an "outgoing" like it would be if the letter was sent from CRM. We plan to improve  this scenario's logic so that the letter track's direction will be displayed an appropriate way.

Choose "[COLOR=#0000FF][B]Selection lists[/B][/COLOR]", click "[B][COLOR=#0000FF]Contact type[/COLOR][/B]" - here you can make changes in the exusting fields or\and add new ones. Click "Save".



You can also change other Drop-down lists in the same "Selection Lists" Menu.

If you are [U]creating a new task[/U] and want it to be repeated each Monday (for example) then go to "[COLOR=#0000FF]More[/COLOR]" section in the bottom of the "[COLOR=#0000FF]Full task form[/COLOR]" and choose "[B][COLOR=#0000FF]Repeat task[/COLOR][/B]" - "[B][COLOR=#0000FF]weekly[/COLOR][/B]" - "[B][COLOR=#0000FF]click Monday[/COLOR][/B]" (or any other day of the week), then choose "[COLOR=#0000FF]Start date[/COLOR]" and "[COLOR=#0000FF]End date[/COLOR]".



If you want to [U]edit the existing task [/U]you need to go to this tasks's "[COLOR=#0000FF][B]Template[/B][/COLOR]" (that is created automatically when you add a new recurring task) For that go to "[COLOR=#0000FF]My Tasks[/COLOR]" - "[B][COLOR=#0000FF]Create from task template" icon[/COLOR][/B] - and [COLOR=#0000FF]choose the name of the tasks[/COLOR] you want to edit.



Add [U]repeat the steps described above[/U] for a new task module (go to "More" section in the bottom of the "Full task form" and choose "Repeat task" - "weekly" - "click Monday" (or any other day of the week), then choose "Start date" and "End date".)

Setting up email from Custom Hosting Provider
Hi Eric,

Please advise what exactly is this problem about? Our new updated version of Bitrix 24 Cloud is equipped with e-mail connectors, which means as soon as you have put in your data and the connection is established, you should be able to see email counters - number of emails you have got  in the left column near the icon named  email. After clicking on this email icon you should be transferred to your post server's homepage.

Please give more details on your problem, screenshots applied will be also helpful.

In the "Server" field enter IP-adress or the name of the server in the network, where the database is installed.
We will fix the required template of the "Server" field shown in the installation master and renew the description in our training course.
In case if the installation master will not manage to connect to the database, check if the connection is established using Microsoft SQL Management Studio.

Extranet, client
Hi Garry,

You can create a separate Extranet group for each client. Create a group (mark it "extranet" in the creation form) and then send an invitation fr om within that group (under the Actions button) to the client's email address. Clients (Extranet users) will only see the group wh ere they are a member and the other users who are members of that group.

Please note that Extranet option is only available in paid versions.
