access workgroup files on latest Bitrix Desktop App, How to access workgroup files using latest app?
Thanks Yana, you answered my question perfectly!  It was the first option, "make group available for sync".

So is this the option that allows the v3 desktop app to access workgroup files?

Also - when looking at a message (with a file attached) in the activity stream - is there a way to tell what folder the file belongs to? (ie, workgroup, or common docs).  Right now, it seems I have to click through all the available places to see where that file is. For example, if I want to know what to tell someone - "look in .... group files"(especially when the message falls off the top of the activity stream)  If not, can you please suggest this for a feature?

I read in the update that the v3 of the desktop app would allow seeing workgroup files.  How can I do this?

Also, I've found a shortcut in "My Files" - called "Shortcut to <workgroup name>" - and it's listed as a shared folder - but a different "shared icon".  Do you know how this could have been created?  I didn't create it.  It is very useful when dealing with the files on my mac's file system, though.

Where is this in the cloud version?

Also:

I can't find out how to create a document in the cloud.  I can easily upload and edit docs in my files library, but can't figure out "create".  Thanks for the help!

Is there a way to view the workgroup calendars on the mobile platform?  I don't see a help link for this...

And is the correct way to show your workgroup calendar overlayed on "my calendar" on free cloud version - is to add it to favorites?

Great!  Thank you Yana,

I have another related question - if a file is added to a message, is that file stored in any of the file areas?  or is it stuck with the message only, and you have to search for that message if you want that file?

Under "my files" - "shared files" - I went into "more" and gave an employee full access.  Where can this employee see this in the cloud and ios app?

Also, I've shared a file via activity stream, but saved the file in a document library (a workgroup actually).  I see the file in the workgroup/files, but I want to have a discussion related to only this doc - and per the forum entries on this (see below) - it says "
If the file is saved in a document library, discussion can likewise go on in the document’s detail page. " -- where is this?

I've thoroughly read the following doc: http://www.bitrix24.com/support/forum/messages/forum3/topic1025/message5345/#message5345

but can't find the answers.

Sorry, I found out the groups don't show when the user hasn't accepted the invite yet.  

But, a problem still exists with accepting the invite, and even posting from iOS to the workgroup via the "+sendmessage" button - it doesn't seem to work for any of us in our company with iOS - but, "liking" another post in the workgroup does work and shows in the cloud.

Is this the issue with the iOS client?

also, I just realized all of my employees don't have "groups" in their ios app.  
How do I give them this?  a permision problem?

I created a workgroup "mywg" and sent invites to 3 employees.  One employee accepted a notification and it notified me on my desktop app... but in the cloud - i can not see this person in the workgroup - it does not show her in the list... it still shows the 3 invites.

Also, when I look at the notification (via little "i"), on the other two employee's iphone app, there is no way to accept it.

So two problems...
what should I check?

Hi Yana, sorry, I wasn't clear.  I want to change membership of the "Company Management Board" group and other groups.  Where can I do that?

What are the groups, like "My Company: Management Board".  Instead of adding individual employees to the CRM, can I add employees to the groups? (And then they would have the rights of that group)  Were can I do that?

Hi everyone.

I'm getting into Bitrix24 for the first time.  I've setup my company, and 3 other employees besides myself.

Problem is with sharing files: If I click "My Files" I understand only I can see these.  But I want to share one of these with an employee. What I have done, that doesn't seem to work is:
Under "My Files", right click, sel ect "access permissions".  I add one of the employees.  But that employee can't see it anywhere.  
How do I fix this?  If I try to move it, using right click, it only gives me options to move it to sub-folders - not the "My Company - Shared documents"

Under "My Files", there is a "shared files" folder.  I put a file in there. Who can see that?  How do they see that?

And lastly - the "Shared Documents" under "Company".  Those are different than the shared documents above.  My employees can see those documents.  but how do these differ fr om the "shared files"

Finally - Contacts:  One employe created a contact in the CRM.  Another employee can't see it.  I can see it (i'm administrator).  How do they see it?
