Telephone module, Voximplant and own cloud hosted PBX, telephone
We have a on-premise Bitrix environment and we would like to use the telephony module for our own hosted PBX. Right now we are testing with the voximplant module. What we can see is that all call traffic is send via sip.voximplant.com (my deskphone connects to that URL via ip.b24.xxxxxxx.bitrixphone.com and the registration for the cloud hosted PBX also originates from the same IP).

Is all call traffic routed via sip.voximplant.com because of the PBX functionality? If yes, is there a possibility to fully use our own PBX (with our own custom functionality) instead of the voximplant PBX?

OK the problem is solved. Only administrators have those rights to see the module itself. After setting up the module, a person within Bitrix is able to make/receive calls.

Dear Yana,

We currently have installed the VoIP module which is visible if i login with ROOT and full access. The module is visible within the front end. If i login with another user with normal rights thus a normal user within the intranet, i can't see the telephone module.

I allready tried giving the user extra access within the settings with read/write etc. But still not visible in the frontend. And again, if a i login with ROOT, the module is visible again.

What am i doing wrong? I want to use the module with our own developed SIP PBX (allready tested with a hosted Bitrix24 account and it worked ;)) and only a few people may test it the following weeks but it has to be visible :(
