Bitrix24 will not sync all of my files, and I need to exclude folders from my Drive, Why doesn't Bitrix24 work?
The Bitrix24 Desktop app does not work with my mac, and I've been told I have "too many files" (just about 12,000, hardly anything for a laptop, and way less than Dropbox and Google Drive can handle).  This is unacceptable for a $200/month paid service and they need to fix this defect in their software

The help desk tells me I should just exclude some of the files I have in the cloud Drive from sync and that then it will "work."  It's as if I don't need access to my library of files.

I do not know how to exclude folders in my Drive so that the desktop app will not try to sync them.  Does anyone know how to do that.  I need SOME of this to work in order to run my business.

This did not fix the problem. We need you the get this fixed right away, and to also communicate with us what is going on.  We are a paying customer and need to know if we should keep paying you, or choose another service. If Bitrix24 is not going to work as promised we need a better solution.

Our company uses all Macs, and now the Desktop App is not working either!  We are a paying customer (pro version) and the help desk (who is supposed to be supporting us) has not answered for three days now - and I have no sync at all on my mac desktop app.
Feature Request - Carry over "Products" listing from CRM into new projects, Import/copy products, quantity, and pricing from CRM (Deals/Leads) into new projects
This feature would save ANY services firm hundreds of hours each time a new, major deal was started.  P-L-E-A-S-E consider it!
It would be helpful if Tasks could be numbered 1-n., Number tasks in a workgroup 1-n would help us
It would be very helpful to us if Tasks in a workgroup could be numbered when they are presented in the Workgroup Task screen.  We have many repetitive tasks we want to list, and it's hard to count down and pick a specific task to edit if they are not numbered.  Adding this feature would be useful to us.

Yana,

This would be an extremely useful feature for us.  Our Deals often contain 60-70 products, and each one of those needs to become a task in a workgroup/project.

The software logic would be fairly simple:

- When a new group is created, the User can sel ect the "Deal" that reflects the product list for that Deal.
- The application reads the product list for that deal, and creates an array of items fr om the product list (being sure to create a  new list item for each product, when there is a quantity > 1

For example:

Product 1
Product 2 (quantity 3)
Product 3

Would become:

Task 1
Task 2
Task 2
Task 2
Task 3

- Inside of the active workgroup, a set of tasks that match the product names is created and saved
- The User could then edit the dates and owner for each task as needed

We would be most pleased if you could provide this feature.  It would eliminate hours of work for us!

Problem with Lists (Records Management) and default field "Name", Appears like I have to keep this field in my list?
I'm working with creating a Risk database in the "Lists" (records management) tool.

When I create a new list, the field "Name" defaults as the first field.

I appears I cannot delete or modify this "Name" field.  I have checked the box and clicked on the red "x" for delete but the screen just blinks and returns without the field deleted.  I tried I could use the Name field to record the name of the person who entered the risk, so I made it a List by changing the datatype (a list of employees).  When I try to change the datatype to a list, it lets me, but then adds ANOTHER field called "Name."  I try to delete the original field "Name" and it won't let me.

Am I required to have a name field that is the default?  I don't want to use this in the list.

I have tried this with both Google Chrome and Safari on a Mac, and IE 10 on Windows, and I get the same behavior.

Thanks, Jeff
Add fields to tasks?, Any way to add a field (checkbox) to a task?
Is there anyway to add a checkbox to a task, that can later be reported on?

We would like to have a way for our consultants to indicate they have incurred an expense for the tasks that they execute.  In our current system (which we are going to replace with Bitrix24 Pro), each item they complete has a checkboxes for 1) expense? and 2) Virtual?

Then we can run a report, see ALL of the completed tasks for that client, and whether or not there were expenses.  Is there anything that will accommodate this?

We are really happy we found Bitrix.  It's going to be a good move for us when we get everyone on it.

We love the Deals section where we can create a catalog of solutions with pricing and quantities for the deal.  It adds the price up nicely and gives us a good record of what we sold (a lot of our deals have 30-40 lines here, so it's not so easy).

When we create a new project (workgroup) to deliver the services, we are creating tasks that mirror the products list exactly.  It would be a real time-saver if we could just bring the information from the Deal into the new workgroup and create a set of tasks that match the deal.
Typo/Grammar on Task Screen, Screen reads "I'm a am responsible, showing tasks"
I'm not sure from the syntax what this means.  Might be worth looking at since it's such a prominent screen (awesome system though!)

Yana,

I was using Safari 7.01 on Mac OS 10.9.1

Oh, and by the way, I have worked a lot in software support in my life and you're awesome!

Yana,

Thank you.  I was making some screen shots for you and I figured it out.

The scroll bar does not show up unless you click on the form and drag it down, then a scroll bar pops up.  But unless you know to do that, here is what shows on the form:

Now, if I click on the Add form and pull down with my mouse, I get a scroll bar, but only for as long as I am holding the mouse button down.

So, it's  not really intuitive but it works not that I know this.  Thanks for your help!

Replicate a long list of tasks, Copy and paste, or import a list of tasks
Thanks Yana!

Yes, this feature would make the product more useful and easier for the people who set up projects.  Even if we had the ability to import an excel file with a long list it would be a little less tedious.  Thank you for looking into it.

Jeff
Replicate a long list of tasks, Copy and paste, or import a list of tasks
Our projects are made up of many tasks, sometimes 80-100 services.  We often deliver dozens of the same task many times, each on being a fixed length and price.

It's tedious to enter 50 of the same task into the task tool for a project.  I know I can copy a single task in order to replicate it, but is there any way to say "ins ert 25 of these tasks" in to the task management tool.  This is specific to Projects (workgroups).  If I can't do that, is there a way to import a list of tasks, or create a template for a project with many tasks in it?

Thanks, Jeff

Yana,  thank you for your detailed answer and your responsiveness.   Yes, this is the kind of report I need.

The problem is, when I click on "add" I only get a limited set of fields, and the "Completed Date" field is not available to me.  I can't see how I can add this to the report. The report I have created includes:

Project Name
Responsible Person
Name of Task
Status
Description

I want to add "completion date" as in your example, but when I click on "add" I only get:

ID
Name
Description
Priority
Status (old version)
Status
In status
In report

I expected to see the 3 date fields (started, due, completed) but they are not present for me to select.  I've looked on other reports and those fields are there.  Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Yana,

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I'm making good progress getting it all set up.  We're almost ready to start moving people over (and upgrading to the Pro version).

I'm struggling with creating a report for completed tasks each month so we can bill against it.

I can't figure out why the report writer won't show me all of the fields I need.  The canned "Involvement with Project" report is close, but I need the task completed date.  For some reason it doesn't show me that field as an option.  What am I missing?

Thanks, Jeff
Need to replicate tasks and products, we have many repeated tasks and its a pain to type them in
Our projects consist of many of the same tasks  repeated many times over the course of a year.  our Products are services and they also repeat many times when i am creating a deal.   is there a way to copy them so i dont have to type them in 40 or 50 times for each project?
Bill on completed task, Would like to be able to invoice clients on completed task, not hours
OK, I'm making some progress.  Added a bunch of catalog items and these are useful for costing out a project.  What I can't figure out is, how to I assign a Product to an individual person, kind of like a task?  I like the task module - it will let me assign a task to a consultant and they can mark it complete, so we can bill for it.  But if I do it that way I have to 1) create the products and pricing for the deal, and then 2) create a task that is named exactly the same thing so I can assign it to the consultant.

Is there no way to tie the products to tasks so that when they complete them, I know how much needs to be billed?  Or is there a way to assign a product completion to a person, so they can mark it as complete?

Yana,  that's sounds VERY promising.  Great suggestion.

I will set this up and experiment with it this week.  Thanks!

Bill on completed task, Would like to be able to invoice clients on completed task, not hours
Yana, that's great news!  Can you give me a tiny bit more guidance on how to do this?

I want to have a set of "products" (these are events like classes or workshops) that I can assign to a person to complete, and then I want to bill our clients every month on the completed products.  This is the feature we have been searching for and if we can make it work, we will move the company over to Bitrix.

A short bulleted list of steps to create these products and assign them, then report on them, would be great.

Thanks,  Jeff
Bill on completed task, Would like to be able to invoice clients on completed task, not hours
Our business model does not use hours, but we charge a fixed-fee to complete a task.  Each task is a fixed period of time, normally one day.  We want to create the list of tasks in the project (group), and then let our staff members mark it as "complete" when they are done.  Then each month we want to run a report of who completed which tasks for each client.  We'll then bill off of that.

We've been piloting Bitrix with the idea that we would move everyone over from our old system (which does this).  We love to product, but this one feature is important to us.  Any ideas if / how to make it work?  Jeff
