I have entered several tasks that appear on a gantt chart - they are out of date order. I would like to re-arrange to show the correct dates through-out the gantt chart. Please advise how I can make this happen...

Super - being able to edit all fields in bulk is something I would [U]add my vote to[/U], since we are constantly updating our systems.
Removing an Employee
I also see where your coming fr om...

Perhaps you can have a option to completely delete a employee with a warning statement that [U][B]are you sure you wish to delete the employee and all their histor[/B]y[/U]. That gives the administrator a way to back out, in case they selected the wrong action.

I would also recommend a option to "inactive" the employee, in order to retain the history. Similar to how you are currently using "dismiss" - the word dismiss does not apply on how one works with employees in my opinion.

In my case I need to start over on a new employee with no history. That is wh ere the delete function would be functional for me.
Unable to delete a Lead after his conversion to Contact, I'd like to delete a Lead already converted into a Contact, Bitrix stops me to do so for "existing links", but I don't know how to find them
Also, I just noticed that new emails get attached to the lead and not the converted contact - this is not going to work. Everything must got to the contact once was the lead has been converted. There is no reason I should have to check two locations to get the history. Someone really needs to address this one please.

After fully using your system this is a big issue. Once a lead is converted it needs to be remove automatically. I see no logic in keeping a copy as a lead once it has been converted. Please advise.

How do I bulk update other custom fields that are not listed?

I have a "Newsletter" field that I created and I need to add a large amount of contacts to this field. How does one do that?

Removing an Employee
Dismiss did not work for me...tried to start over and it stated user already existed. You really need a "delete" option

I select all the ones I wish to update and there appears to be no way to change status in bulk.

I am using the custom field, when I convert the lead It does not carry over the data. I am just suggesting allow the lead, contact and company to share the same industry field - that is why I am say why duplicate. There is not need to create custom filed in leads and contacts when it already exists for company. Just saying...

We really wish to be able to enter the starting number and put a prefix. We have been using a auto numbering system for years and your ID numbers throw us out of sequence. Are there any plans to offer a auto number field that can be customized?

[/QUOTE]This is really a problem for us as new users. All the time I am spending customizing fields and not converting over is a big problem. One would think that this feature would be implemented by now, since this thread started earlier this year. This should be a no brainier...

I wish to create custom fields that stay the same in leads, contacts, company

So if I create a custom field called "Department" - I wish it to automatically create in contacts and companies. That way when I fill in the field in Leads, it follows when I convert to contact and company with the same data. How do you guys handle that? any suggestions?

I do not wish to have to create the same fields in each type and have it not follow when converted.
