Background

Our team needed a quicker, simpler way to capture time throughout the day while ensuring every entry was still recorded against native Bitrix24 task time tracking. We built a custom Quick Time Capture application using the Vibecode platform to streamline the process without changing our existing reporting or task history.

Challenge

Previously, staff had to open individual Bitrix24 tasks and log time one task at a time. The process involved constant navigation between screens, making it time-consuming and disrupting the team's workflow.

We also wanted a solution that could be tailored to our exact requirements without the cost and complexity of a traditional software development project or lengthy deployment cycles.

Solution

We started by describing our ideal workflow conversationally with ChatGPT, refining the user experience until it matched exactly how our team worked.

Using Vibeсode and Codex, we then generated, deployed, and iteratively improved a custom application simply by describing changes in plain language.

The result was a lightweight time capture tool that lets users log work from a single screen, create tasks when needed, save drafts throughout the day, and submit time directly into Bitrix24 – all while enabling rapid enhancements without managing infrastructure, deployment scripts, or complex integrations.
