Bitrix24 comes with unlimited personal and team calendars, so you can have one for finance, one for HR, and another for your whole department. Each user can view their colleagues’ calendars for full transparency and check their availability before creating tasks and events.
All your features are also available on the free team calendar app so you can keep on top of things even when you’re not at your desk.
Set up a team calendar in seconds with Bitrix24. Choose a name and description, and set a unique color to visually distinguish it from your current calendars. Select the “access permissions” tab to share your calendar with a team, department, or selected individuals.
Now you’ve got your calendar, go back to “add” to create your first task or event.
If you already have a calendar in MS Outlook, integrate it and keep your schedule in one place. Similarly, you can connect your Google calendar with Bitrix24 using a CalDav protocol, as explained in the Bitrix manual.
You can easily adapt how you view your Bitrix24 calendar within the web app or on your smartphone. Get an overview of your monthly responsibilities or drill down into your specific daily tasks.
Assign a color to a group of tasks to understand your tasks at a glance. For example, put your scrum work in yellow, meetings in blue, and social media work in red.
Furthermore, you can add calendars from other teams, departments, and people you work closest with–perfect for managers who need a global view.
Everyone in your team can set tasks on their personal calendars, as well as the team calendar. Assign colleagues to tasks, set deadlines, and store key documents on the cloud for easy access. Give tasks a repeating time slot to help you and your team organize your week.
For sensitive project management, you can restrict viewing access to just your own team, and set reminders for recurring tasks like team meetings.
Streamline your operations by using team calendars to book out rooms. Schedule meetings, conferences, and training sessions without clashes.
Bitrix24’s team calendar solutions allow you to reserve office space for whatever you need, whenever you need it. Choose your room, save a time slot, and invite your guests. If any of your guests are busy, you’ll be able to see that as you create your meeting.
Going on holiday? Use Bitrix24’s absence chart, showing your team when you will be away. If someone wants to assign you a task or event when you’re off, they’ll see you’re not available.
Set up an event on your calendar and share it with your team. Give your event a name and assign it to whichever calendar you want to. Choose the date, hours, or even days your event is for, get started. If you prefer, you can select the days directly on the calendar and go from there.
Once you’ve launched your event, you can choose to receive attendance confirmations from your guests. Need to make a change? Make an edit and automatically notify attendees. Just in case, automate a reminder for two days before, and you’re ready to go!
When creating both tasks and events, you can see the availability of all of your team. This avoids the hassle of sending a mass email to check availability, speeding up the whole process. You can even check availability through the company tree, rather than typing names in individually.
If you’re part of an international team, you may have colleagues in different time zones. Bitrix syncs time zones so you don’t need to give it a second thought. Cut out the time-consuming admin work and start scheduling those events.
