Where can I find this feature?

  • Software: the most common example is a phone system update. Nothing is deleted, and you can still use all the apps on your phone;

  • Video games: most video games are compatible with the older versions of Xbox and Sony PlayStation, though the experience will differ due to technological developments;

  • Telecommunication: newer 5g smartphones include backward compatibility features and support 3G and 4G connection. At the same time, older smartphones lacked this feature and did not support a 5G connection.
